Mini Town Memories

I remember going to Mini Town when I was 6 or 7. Mini Town is a model of a coastal town and has been in existence since January 1969. It is still so well cared for and maintained.

We caught a taxi to Mini Town at a cost of R40.00; Mark didn't believe me when I said it was not that far and we could walk. It is R20.00 for adults to go into Mini Town and R10.00 for children under 12 and I think it is free for children under 6. Chad and I went to Durban in September 2010 and we spent forever at Mini Town, this time we rushed through, because Mark and Chad had to get to the Top Gear Show. They were starting to regret buying tickets for the show, because there is just so much to do in Durban.

Wow how Chad had grown in 4 years.

Mini Town is a must see when you are in Durban, especially for little children. You can even have a kiddies party there. We left Mini Town, walked back to the hotel and then Mark and Chad caught a taxi to the Moses Mabhida Stadium and I went to lie down and fell into a deep restful sleep at 4 in the afternoon.
